All our Tranax MB 2000 3DES kits are made by the manufacturer, and are VEPP-compliant. However, Tranax stopped production of the MB 2000 before they started producing 3DES ATMs. Thus, unless you bought your ATM refurbished and it was already upgraded, or if you upgraded sometime in the past few years by a technician, it is not Triple DES compliant. Upgrading your Tranax Mini-Bank 2000 ATM to Triple DES
The Tranax 2000 is an ATM known by many different names such as the Tranax MB 2000, the Tranax Mini-Bank 2000, the Mini-Bank 2000, the Cross Mini-Bank 2000, or the Cross 2000. They are all the same machine. Yet how can you tell if you have one of these machines? In most of the cases, the name, or a variation of it, will be right on the top facial door of the ATM. Just look at the picture on the right. This is a short, compact ATM whose body is charcoal gray, and whose fascia comes in either light metallic green or light metallic gold.
