All our Tranax MB 1000 3DES kits are made by the manufacturer, and are VEPP-compliant. However, Tranax stopped production of the MB 1000 before they started producing 3DES ATMs. Thus, unless you bought your ATM refurbished and it was already upgraded, or if you upgraded sometime in the past few years by a technician, it is not Triple DES compliant. Upgrading your Tranax Mini-Bank 1000 ATM to Triple DES
The Tranax 1000 is an ATM known by many different names such as the Tranax MB 1000, the Tranax Mini-Bank 1000, the Mini-Bank 1000, the Cross Mini-Bank 1000, or the Cross 1000. They are all the same machine. Yet how can you tell if you have one of these machines? In most of the cases, the name, or a variation of it, will be right on the top facial door of the ATM. Just look at the picture on the right. This is a short, compact ATM that comes with a charcoal gray body, and a light metallic green fascia.
