Tidel IS 800 3DES Kits

How can you tell if you have a Tidel IS 800? Look at the picture on the left. The 800 comes in two versions, and it may or may not have the yellow on blue "ATM" sign on the fascia. The 800 is similar to both the Tidel IS 1000 and 2000. Both the Tidel IS 800 and 2000 have a small vault door, 14.5" by 15" in size, behind the facial door of the ATM. If the vault door reaches the floor, then it is a Tidel IS 1000.

Considering you have already determined by looking at the vault door that you do not have a Tidel IS 1000, the 800 closely resembles the Tidel IS 2000 but you will know the difference by looking inside the top ATM cabin on the left. If the serial number of the ATM begins with the letters "LG", then you have a Tidel IS 800 ATM. If it starts with anything else, you have a Tidel IS 2000 ATM.

All our Tidel IS 800 3DES kits are made by the manufacturer, and are VEPP-compliant. However, Tidel stopped production of the IS 800 before they started producing 3DES ATMs. Thus, unless you bought your ATM refurbished and it was already upgraded, or if you upgraded sometime in the past few years by a technician, it is not Triple DES compliant.
